1. Service Description
dark label. ("the Service") is a business management platform designed for independent music producers. The Service is operated by Dark Label Music ("we", "us", "our").
The Service provides tools for artist discovery, customer relationship management, project management, invoicing, file sharing, and business analytics.
2. User Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
- Upload malicious content or attempt to introduce vulnerabilities
- Violate the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights
4. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Dark Label Music and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
5. Payment Terms
Paid features are billed according to the plan you select. Payments are processed through Stripe, and you agree to Stripe's terms of service when making payments.
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dark Label Music shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted.
8. Platform Administration
The Service is managed by designated administrators. By using the Service, you acknowledge that platform administrators may access your data as described in our Privacy Policy, including your pipeline, projects, invoices, email communications, integration data, and activity history. This access is used for platform operation, user support, coaching, and business analytics.
Significant actions within the platform are recorded in an audit log for security and operational purposes. You may request access to audit log entries related to your account by contacting us.
9. Data Processing
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to our data practices as described therein.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dark Label Music operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
