Hit 2 huge landmarks over the weekend. First £4k month in Feb 18 months of sobriety Not to mention that I've been hitting over £3k consistently for 6 months now. For the first time in my career, I've felt stable and in control of the work side of things (and no doubt that's helped with the personal stuff too). I finally got my first production sale, with the full fee! And I absolutely LOVE the artist and the song we made. When we did the casual call, we vibed but she didn't have any songs ready to go, as she is about to release an album. It’s been months since my I got my first deposit from the initial artist I began working with, and hundreds of outreaches later it feels great to know I’m capable of doing this with more than one. This artist also wants to release a 4-5 song EP but begin with one song to see how it turns out. Just closed on an ethnic hip hop project for a formerly signed artist out in Brazil. The goal of the project is to create the next single he's performing at a festival in Brasília. This'll give not only him but me a lot of exposure to a slew of other artists out there. 🇧🇷

Halfway through the program and it's working for me! I've closed 10 new clients in these 6 months. 8 of those were closed in the past 10 weeks after a 12 week slump of 0 sales. If I've reached a tipping point where I can continue to close a new client nearly every week, my client base is going to grow exponentially in the coming years. Which is exactly what I came for. I'm so exited to share that I just got the first payment to produce a 3 song EP for a local artist. :) I found her on my first week of outreach, we have been in conversations and met a couple times during December and she just made the first payment to start this week. Very exciting!

I started my Outbound work in December and booked a few calls for this month (holidays are a hectic time), but I just had my first call with an artist from overseas and landed my first production deal from outbounding. Starting with 1 song but they expressed the desire to have 5 - 6 releases this year, so we’ll see how our first track together goes and then look at signing them on for the rest!

I'm a little late to the party on this one, but back in October I closed my first sale through outreach, and this week an artist I worked with on my portfolio tracks hired me to produce two songs! Hey! After starting with outreach in April I’ve got a couple of 50/50 master split projects, but last month I got my first 2 paid projects. As the artists aren’t that skilled (bad voices and songwriting abilities ) I almost tried to talk them out of doing a project with me at the sales call 😅. But I’m still happy that they said yes, and it’s going to be a fun challenge to see to what level I can bring the songs. (Another small win: My kids song (in Norwegian) released in July has passed 50k Spotify streams 😆)
